Anthony Jarvis Special Counsel
Anthony Jarvis is a corporate and commercial lawyer with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. His corporate and commercial legal experience has seen him act for private sector and government clients across Australia.
Anthony has diverse commercial and business law experience with expertise in corporate advisory and commercial contracting, mergers and acquisitions, property law, retail and commercial leasing, intellectual property and information technology, and due diligence projects. He provides regulatory advice on the Corporations Act and related areas, including corporate governance and directors’ duties.
His experience and understanding of business also assists him to provide specialist advisory services to clients in the areas of trust creation, variations and administration, succession planning, and strategic structural arrangements.
He is a former member of Australia’s Takeovers Panel, the National Sports Tribunal, the Western Australian Contaminated Sites Committee and the Northern Territory Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal.
Anthony has a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne and postgraduate qualifications in applied finance in addition to undergraduate degrees in commerce and law. Anthony also lectures in law at the University of Notre Dame.
Anthony is an accredited mediator under the Australian Mediator and Dispute Resolution Practitioner Accreditation System (AMDRAS) with experience in commercial mediations.
